Pattaya’s best kept secret is undoubtedly the quality and value of it’s golf courses, there are 20 championship standard courses within 45 minutes of Pattaya, designed by the very best golf architects and designers. Listed below are some of the fantastic courses Pattaya has to offer.

buraphaBurapha Golf Club.Burapha’s two 18-Hole championship golf courses were designed by Gary Panks and David Graham. Burapha has been home to numerous tournaments including the annual Pattaya Open.

crystal-bayLegacy Crystal Bay. This Thai Takanaka designed course was built in 1988. It averages about 6500 yards and is relatively flat. It also has an island green and the newer addition of large mature palm trees has added what they feel is an Hawaiian feeling to this design.

mountain-shadowLegacy Mountain Shadow Resort. A Ronald Fream design, this is a very player friendly design that has a very open feel to it with lovely terraced trees and flowers that cradle the back of the greens on most holes.

khaokheowKhao Kheow Country Club. This Pete Dye course was built in 1992. Dye uses bunkers and water to protect all his greens and also the mounds that are ever present can send a ball off to a place that it wasn’t intended.

eastern-starEastern Star Golf Club. Eastern Star was designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Jr and opened in 1993. The course is relatively flat and is referred to as a links course

phoenixPhoenix Country Club .There are three sets of 9’s on this Dennis Griffiths design – the Mountain, Ocean and Lakes. None of the 9’s are over 3500 yards.

emeraldThe Emerald. The18-hole design by Nick Faldo and the late Desmond Muirhead
is carved through a pristine rain forest of full-grown trees that still provide sanctuary to a variety of native birds.
